It's not just a computer thing anymore ... actually was it ever really?
This shows you the story of what we take in our bodies simply by putting something on our skin... know what you're putting in Toxins in ... Toxins out
http://bit.ly/bq8GDK
Now for the rest of the story ... Dad loves listening to Paul Harvey and I loved spending time with Dad so I'd listen with him. So I borrow from Paul ... and now, for the rest of the story. Whether it applies or not, it is a good segue way.
GIGO (as computer geeks would understand) doesn't apply only to what we put on our skins or in our bodies ... remember our bodies are God's temple (1 Cor 6:19), think about that next time you over-indulge! Of course, I figure God likes a pint of Ben & Jerry's "everything but the..." now and then ... but, I think he may be tiring of the Doritos Late Night, Tacos at Midnight ... then again, maybe not yet. If he is, why am I still drawn to them? especially when food lion has them at discount price lately? it's a sign...
But I digress ... Anyway GIGO applies to so many things we do ... beauty, eating, words, images, relationships ... AHHHHH relationships! I've been thinking of them and how toxic relationships affect us ... guard your heart against who you let in your life, remember toxic in ... toxic out. I pray you surround yourself with friends who encourage, support, love you ... if not, is it time for new friends? expand your territory. Take a moment and listen to the voices around you, your voice (I didn't say voices in your head, if you talk back to them, get back to me, I can refer you someplace)
Are your own words toxic? what messages do you send out ... you reap what you sow.(Gal6:7) That means more than finances, it applies to your faith, love, tithes, time, energy! Sow small and your harvest will be small ... SOW with love, abundance, confidence, generosity and your harvest will over take you! It's God's promise! (Luke 6:38) Measure your words. I know I want all and more of what God has for me
What about you? Are you desiring a husband but losing faith, hope?
I know so many wonderful, beautiful single women ... women who pay attention to messages of society, women broken, they want a good man, good husband yet give a front of bravado that they don't need a man. Who needs a man? let's face it they are goofy, awkward, different creatures but they are fun! We women can be just as goofy, awkward, obtuse, etc etc etc. That's what makes the world interesting!!
The women who say they don't need a man are the same ones who jump, primp, flirt when they see a cute man ... Imagine a good, Christian man coming into their lives and I know they'd be singing another tune. Don't take in the toxic messages of our media ... instead stay in the truth! If your truth is that you don't want a man ... I pray you have blessings galore, are fruitful in your life. If you have the heart to share your life then ...
Get ready! ...Walk in love with all relationships, friends, family, acquaintances, those you meet daily ... give a smile, a word of thanks, show some love ... let it transform you.
what is your hearts desire? Where do you want to be in a year from now? Glance back at your past just to record the improvements, the goodness, then dream and dream big for next year, tomorrow even ...
"It is not as important how we start (our past), but how we finish." — Joyce Meyer
Mind your mind ... trust your heart ... live from your heart! When you think of it that way ... do you want garbage, toxins in your heart?
I don't think so..... Ciao
